Chest acne is a skin illness that affects a very large number of people across the globe. Earlier on, it was believed to only affect teenage boys and girls but that has been proven wrong and is found on both adults and teenagers. Chest acne can simply be pimples or abrasions that occur on the chest, just like any other part of the body. While caring for chest acne, one should know that body acne is not the same as facial acne because the pores on the body are different and should be treated differently.

If your hair is long, when you wash it you should make sure that all the oil has been washed off. You should not scrub your skin roughly because it can cause irritation and inflammation and bursting the pimples can lead to bleeding, further irritation and possible scarring.

Another effective control measure against acne on the chest, neck and collar areas is using body wash and lotion. When used once every morning and every night, the body wash will prevent the breakout of body acne. It is best to use one body wash instead of mixing many different types. When mixed, they can react on the skin aggregating the disease.
